Are your staff Garda vetted?
Yes, all of our staff receive Garda vetting prior to engagement with operations.
How long have you been in operation since?
We have been operating since we were originally founded back in 2003.
Are you insured?
Yes, Nugent Contract Cleaning is fully insured to provide all of the services that you would expect from an elite cleaning firm.
Do your staff speak English?
Yes, our team leaders all speak English to a high standard.
Do you have a set price list for each type of job?
No. This is because each job is completely different and when calculating a price it depends on a number of factors such as the size of the area to be cleaned, the type of job involved, travel costs, materials required and the lead time given to complete the job.
That is why when calculating a quote we prefer to have seen the location prior so that we can get a more complete understanding of what the client requires.
What regions do you operate in?
We are based in Dublin, Ireland and the majority of our services are provided to clients within the Leinster region. However, for special operations we undertake work across all 32 counties. For operations that require additional travel there are additional travel costs that are taken into account when arriving at a quoted price.
What is the minimum hours of a contract that you are willing to service?
The minimum number of hours that we are willing to service for a contract is 10 hours per week.
Are all your staff fully trained?
All our staff are trained to the British Institute of Cleaning standards and they are certified in manual handling training. Members of the specialised team also receive Safe Pass training and many other areas of training and certification.
What kind of quality standards do you comply with within your company?
We are an ISO 9001 certified company so all of our standards ranging from safety to operational standards are in line with this certification.
Can we expect to have the same person dedicated to our office clean or can it be expected to change?
We put a great deal of effort into selecting the right team member to suit each site and its requirements and when selecting the staff member to carry out the services we try to tailor this so that there is minimal travel and the ability of the staff member to commit long term to the servicing of the contract. We also have a back up support structure in place to help assist in servicing of contracts in the event that certain operations require extra support. This ensures efficiency and consistency of service to our clients so that they are receiving the highest quality of service and support. Many of our staff are with us long-term with some still being with us since we were originally founded back in 2002 so we recognise the importance of commitment with the long-term in mind.
Are all your staff in uniforms?
Yes, all staff are equipped with the appropriate company uniforms to suit the area the staff are working in.
This is normally an apron along with dark trousers or a polo shirt and dark trousers for staff members operating in office environments. Additionally, the industrial team has a fleece/overcoat for use during external work.
Can you also provide cleaning supplies and consumables for our offices along with cleaning services?
Yes, we are able to provide cleaning supplies and consumables for our customer’s locations. This can include toilet paper, hand soap and dispensers, hand sanitiser etc. This is normally priced as separate from the cleaning service aspect of the contract.
Are there cleaning plans/ schedules written out for our workspace?
Yes, each contract is provided with a tailored cleaning schedule for the cleaning staff to follow which is monitored by our supervisors to ensure standards are being met.
Do staff fill in sign off sheets?

What kind of procedures do you have in place for Covid-19 safety?
All of our managers are certified Covid compliance officers and all of our staff received Covid-19 safety training. Staff are also routinely briefed on Covid-19 related matters regularly and are provided with PPE when on site for protecting both themselves and our clients.
Are the chemicals you use harmful or toxic?
No, we make sure to use chemicals that are safe and non-harmful when carrying out our operations.
Do the products you use kill Covid-19?
The products that we use have been proven under the BS EN 1276, which is the European standard for bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants, to kill viruses, bacteria and fungi organisms and are highly effective against Covid-19.
